This driver apparently had a 5.0 rating with over 15,000 rides, and Lyft refused to help the guy out after his innocent mistake. Now is an actually reasonable time to ask for the supervisor. All Karen memes aside, this is just some grade A BS.
This Uber driver showed up and helped a troubled young woman in the middle of an unnerving date with the King of Creepy Nice Guys, out of a dicey situation. This would be a great marketing campaign for Uber. He manages to show up and rescue her from her date from hell by acting like he's her partner. It sounds like this was just what was needed to get the absolute creep to get the message.
Because rideshare drivers come into contact with possibly hundreds of different people every week, they without a doubt have seen some SH*T. Maybe literally.
