We're not terribly picky when it comes to wasting time on the internet. There's not much opportunity to be choosy when we're constantly being inundated with terrible news and politics. So sometimes we have to turn to memes of yore to keep us busy. This gallery is a mix of old and gold memes and some fresher memes to keep things current. Here's hoping they help dull the pain for a little while.
It's hard to believe that The Rock is 6'5" in this photo which shows him next to Chinese retired pro basketball player Sun Mingming, who is 7'9." He previously held the title of tallest basketball player in the world, and he and his wife currently hold the record for tallest couple in the world.

This "Dad and the dog" dank meme combines two of our favorite things: dads and doggos. The meme exploits the idea that dads are truly marshmallows under their tough exteriors. The first instance of the meme featured Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson with a cute dog, paired with a joke about a dad's hesitance about getting a dog, and his eventual love for the damn critter. The memes have been popping off since early this week, and it's easy to see why.
We lament the end of The Office all the damn time, but we're starting to realize the show has been pretty much immortalized by memes. It's almost impossible to scroll through Instagram or Redditwithout stumbling upon hilarious jokes about the show or using its imagery. While the show concluded over six years ago, it's brought us some incredible meme formats - most of which are represented in this gallery. Our favorite? It's definitely Jim Smiling Through Blinds, but there's something here for every Office fan.
Happy Scorpio season to all youastrology freaksout there! And rest in power to Libra season. To celebrate the beginning of an intense month, we put together these Scorpio memes for what we like to call the "fire signs of the water signs." Move over, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson - there's a new name meme in town. Someone realized how easy it is to riff on Post Malone's moniker, and the memes have been streaming in. It's become such a phenomenon that the rapper himself has threatened to change his name so that nothing will rhyme with it.
As shallow tabloids go, the Daily Mail is one of the worst offenders out there. The publication is famous for "reporting" on female celebrities faces and figures as they go about their days. Some of their choice headlines today include "Christine McGuinness flaunts her tanned and toned figure in an underboob baring thong bikini as she hits the beach in Mallorca" and "Ashley Graham puts growing baby bump on display in black leggings to workout... as she praises her fans for sharing their stretch mark photos". Twitter account @MaleDaily1 (The Daily Male) is here to flip these sketchy reporting practices and apply them to all your favorite male celebrities. Reading about Danny Devito "pouring" into a black outfit and Piers' Morgan "hiding his famous hourglass physique" really shows you just how awful the Daily Mail is about featuring women. We're not sure if this account will flip the script on their reporting, but we hope that it'll make the general public a bit more aware regarding these gender discrepancies. In the meantime, the photoshops are wildly funny, and we can't wait for more.
