Planting sounds like much more fun than weed hacking. I've done nothing in the yard myself as I'm not allowed...won't be for some time. I hired a guy to take care of the front yard and that's working out well. My taste buds are improving slowly. My weight has stabilized though. It's been the same for more than a month. I do need to put on about 25 pounds but that should be muscle to replace the tone and mass I had before I got sick. I hope you get good weather to enjoy some planting.

Lol oh boy yup the moss goes nuts here as well! Finished the wall clearing onto this years painting everything is now a light minty green I like it better then the damson before it’s more cheery. Haven’t asked about the spelling yet but I will get Aidan on his own and either beg for keeva or get hi to write out the spelling so I can practice pml! Lexi has just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes which is a bummer means extra appointments and a good chance of a bigger baby perhaps induced a few weeks early but they are monitoring her well and she is looking good has the pregnancy glow.. I think in my time it was more growl than glow! Love cedars too by the way! We have one across the road I. The church grounds and it’s really old and elegant

I've always called it won't power. Regardless, it saved my life and totally changed my perspective. Yeah, that's tough on Coco and Teresa both but they'll get past it quickly. It's just these few days of transition that are so uncomfortable. The Warriors game was wild. I didn't think we had much chance for game 6. As the 4th quarter progressed I started to believe. I hope these few days of rest will get us close to healthy for the conference finals. Cold and rainy is a good excuse to lay low and build your energy to enjoy the good weather tomorrow.

I found that quitting cigarettes was tougher than quitting drugs and alcohol. The motivation was different. I knew my drug and alcohol addiction could kill me at any time. I knew that cigarettes would kill me too but it would take longer...there wasn't the sense of urgency to quit. Finally I did though. That's great that Chuck hasn't gone back to smoking. Teresa got news yesterday that was pretty sad. Her Cocker Coco had to have 19 teeth pulled. Fortunately Coco is recovering nicely and will still be able to lead a normal and happy life. It was tough on Teresa...tougher on her that it's been on Coco.

The BBQ Pit Boys look like they're in ZZ Top and sound like Sam Elliot. Their favorite utensil is a 12 inch machete. They cut meat, veggies with them and use them to lift pot lids. Yes, they use veggies but they make fun of "vegematics". I won't touch hydrocodone. I've seen a number of friends take it for legitimate reasons but it leads them back to active addiction. I was adamant with my doctors that I didn't want any painkillers. I realize that there are times when taking painkillers is legitimate and aids in the healing process and if necessary I would take them as prescribed but I prefer to avoid them completely. As far as the taste buds go, I know it's just a matter of being patient and they'll come back. I've got a buddy with throat cancer right now and he has a feeding tube. I don't envy him and he has no Teresa to look out for him. Those school shootings are maddening. How in the hell do we keep our kids safe? The world would be a much better place if the shooters just killed themselves in the first place and left everyone else alone.

Sis's place sounds like a great place to hang. I love that she and her friends are providing a haven for the bees. Poor puppers getting scared by the mean storms. I like that they sought refuge with you. We need to come up with a heroic back story for Chuck's smashed toe. He must have done it in an attempt (successful) to rescue some small furry creature. I'm getting impatient for my taste buds to recover fully. Although my brain and imagination is leading the way. I spent most of yesterday morning watching Youtube videos of meat smoking. I've become a fan of the BBQ Pit Boys. They're a couple of good ol' southern boys that you wish were your uncles. They cook great stuff and they're pretty irreverent. I think my favorite move of theirs is the way they clean cutting boards to fight off the foods police. They splash some of the beer they're drinking on the cutting board and simply wipe it off with the rag that was hanging out of their pocket. I saw a video where they smoked a pork belly and fell in love. I know it would be too rich for me right now but I'm seriously going to attack that one day soon.

The thing I hate about basketball is the reffing. Fans and players on either side complain all the time...some with reason and others out of habit. The flopping is out of control, too. Harden is the worst but Steph winds up on his back after an awful lot of his 3 pointers. Have a great trip and stay safe.

"The playing field was so damaged by the explosion and by the fans that the White Sox were required to forfeit the second game to the Tigers." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disco_Demolition_Night *** (By Fauxpaws on Apr 29, 2019 at 7:36 AM * That's all right! They had the performers listed in the title, so after I read that I was prepared to just flip through it. I don't remember the Disco Demolition night but I would have enjoyed it! Why did they cancel the second game? Were people booing the show or something?)

Whoops, sorry! Guess I should have warned you and listed them out. Of course, as a guy I've always had extra motivation in the case of Olivia and Agnetha. ** We've discussed DJ Rick Dees' Disco Demolition night, yes? His stunt of blowing up boxfulls of disco records between games of a doubleheader led to the cancellation of the second game. *** (By Fauxpaws on Apr 29, 2019 at 4:46 AM * EEW! I had to skip along through that video - not my favorite performers, I'm afraid. Reminds me of the time way back when Disco took over. Bleh. I visited my sister once a few years ago and she made me sit through Mama Mia. I was able to sleep through most of it, thank heavens. =)

I made up for the lack of naps yesterday with all my napping today. I woke up for meals and the Warrior game but other than that I was snoozing. How has the weather been in Austin?

I've got to do labs next week but I don't have an appointment with the doctor for a month. My strength and energy is slowly returning...haven't taken a nap today...don't know if that's a good thing. ;) When do you leave to see your sis?

Poor Elf provides comic relief for his human but at least the prospect of noms helps him get past the shame. I just got home...my home...to stay. I spent about twenty minutes getting settled and now can enter the digital world. It feels good.
