Ohai!! And thanks for the "heads-up" on my account. My homepage went and changed e-mayos on me. They promised to forward my hotmail, but they lied. And I haven't been able to figure a way around it yet. I sent them a scathing letter *shrug* but I suspect I will be changing providers none the less. I will let you know when I get it all figured out. Love&Blessings ~DB.

Ohai Robin :D Yup, definitely loved the way you scrapped Jade's picture. You've got talent I tell ya. My birthday was pretty great, very laid back and relaxed which is just the way I wanted to spend it. I hope you're having a great weekend and have a great week ahead *hugs*

Robin, Thanks so much, I'm with you on the 'real life issues' and have been off work on medical for awhile. Don't even have the strength to stay-online very long but had to say thanks to one of my first cheezbuds. Gosh time flies, take ccare, keep healthy and hug the sweet ones.Smokyzmom

Thank you , I spent most of the day with my sister and really enjoyed it. I have very little family, it is great to spend time with them when I can. Thanks again, Millie

Honey, none of your stuff knows where it belongs! You need to have a long talk with it and tell it to stay put!!! This slipping and sliding outta place must be a distraction, not to mention painful. Nothing knows where the other thing is on any given day.

Evenin' Mel, I guess I'm used to the new reality...don't like it, but it is what it is. The sting fades but the loss remains. I just finished up this month's newsletter for the organization we belonged to. Writing his obit helped. >What weather? The Central Coast during a dry year is the most boring place on Earth. Cold nights and warm clear days. Day after day. Like you, I like winter weather and other than cold, we just haven't had any yet. Alas, when it's 110 next summer I'll prob'ly gripe about that too :-)

Hi Robin, So sorry to hear of your friend and her up-coming surgery. Thank goodness she was found before her condition got worse. I do hope she survives the surgery and has a good prognosis. Diabetics have such a hard time when their health is complicated with other health problems. Sorry to hear that Rob is working so much overtime. Guess the paychecks will be good though! (hopefully he gets overtime pay?) I don't think I actually know what he does for a living. I am glad Ears is doing better. I know what you mean about not being happy about having to increase his meds. Our Pom., Molly has a problem with fluid in her bronchial area. It is an on going problem she has had for several years. She was on predisone for a prolonged period of time for this. Unfortunately the steroids caused problems with her skin and her beautiful coat. She lost most of her coat and it is slowly growing back but we have been told by the vet that she won't have the really thick pretty coat she had. She is such a sweetie and just 6 pounds so even though she is 9 years old she still seems like a baby to us. The fluid problem causes her to cough and we give her prescription cough meds for this. It won't cure the problem but helps the cough so she is more comfortable. Gary is doing better since he was in hospital before Christmas. Hopefully the medication adjustments will continue to keep him on tract! I had 6 injections in my joints (back) today to hopefully help my chronic back pain. We are both being treated by a pain Doctor for our back pain. Brother, getting older is really a bummer sometimes! I hope your babies do well at the Vet. I know they might be unhappy for awhile but hopefully they will get a good health report. I will pray for your friend and hope she does very well. You take care and I am sorry to sooo whinney about our health problems! Thanks again for your help with collectibles!

Ohai Robin! I'm so glad to hear from you! My New Year's was great, I spent it with my brother and Luke and it was a good time (mostly relaxing which was nice). I'm so glad to hear Rob was able to be with you when the clock struck midnight, and how wonderful of him to make you a yummy breakfast! That's neat that Rob's birthday is the same as my niece's, and a belated (but still warmly wished) Happy Birthday to him :) I'm glad you're getting used to your digital camera, it takes a while to get the hang of everything but you seem to be right on track. I'm glad the batteries are at least lasting a little longer too! Those tripods are so neat, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself so much. It's really fun once you get used to it. Sorry to hear that the snow stopped and the weather hasn't been what you have hoped. We have had a really warm spell, but as of today it's supposed to cool down and we'll be getting 3-6 inches of snow between today and tonight (our first 'significant' snowfall of the season). I wonder if it will head out your way? Shoot, I hope there isn't a big kitten explosion, I know it's so difficult to keep up with the ones you have already at home and at Kitty Corner. I'm also terribly sorry to hear about Linda, I'll keep her in my prayers and keep my fingers crossed for her recovery. I really hope she pulls through.. it seems that it's always the best people who suffer unfortunately. Thanks double-time for taking the time to write when you've been so very busy! Here's hoping you catch some serious breaks, because you've been through so much last year and into this one. KC is lucky to have you as a volunteer, that's for sure! We've got the snow blower all set here, now it's just a matter of waiting for it to fly. Thanks very much for all the good luck wishes. I've been keeping you in my prayers as always. *hugs* take care of yourself!

Oh, so glad some of the kittehs are getting forever homes. Just wish they could all get good homes - and spay/neuter was mandatory for all pets to cut down on unwanted pets. Of course, I know a few people I'd like to see neutered too (snerks). I certainly hope this new year brings you lots of happiness. The past year wasn't kind to you in many ways. Fingers crossed for many more adoptions. Barb
