The official Bandai Namco US Twitter account dropped a casual hint to some kind of mysterious game the company is set to announce on Monday.

bandai namco game

The mysterious link in their tweet leads to a mysterious website that features a countdown timer, and occasionally, hints about the project.

So far those hints have included "can you feel the hunger," "the architecture resonates among the weak," "there's no way out," and "the garden of life will blossom in the sky."

There are a lot of theories floating around about what the game could be, but so far the game that's looking most promising is God Eater.

If you missed out on playing PT when it was available, now's your chance to get your hands on the canceled project's demo. Follow a detailed guide here, but know that it's not exactly legal to do. Sony prohibits the use of third party/sharing apps, but your risk of being banned is pretty low.

Japan's Nikkei Newspaper is reporting that Hideo Kojima's days at Konami are finally done, so we can all be free from the emotional roller coaster that has been rumors of his departure from the game company.

After countless reports of mistreatment, weird branding moves that minimized Kojima's involvement in his own series, and that one time Konami tried to pretend he was just on vacation, it looks like Kojima's really left Konami, and he's starting his own company!

From Nikkei, translated by NeoGAF user Zefah:

Kojima Hideo, a famous video game creator known for the Metal Gear series has left Konami Digital Entertainment as of December 15th. He will form a new company where he will continue developing video games, with plans to release on platforms such as Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE)'s PlayStation. He is forming the new company with people who worked under him at Konami. The rights to the Metal Gear series, for which he is most known, remain at Konami, so he will begin working on an all new title. Final negotiations with SCE are underway for this new game to debut on PlayStation.

I for one can't wait to see what he does with a new series. What about you?

Surely you remember "the dress" from earlier this year? You know, the one that nobody could figure out the color of: white and gold or blue and black?!

Newly released Just Cause 3 is full of easter eggs, and this one is particularly meme-y. In a rooftop apartment in Citate Di Rivello, you can find two women wearing white & gold and blue & black dresses, because, you know, memes.

Way back in 1990, the Great Nintendo Empire ruled living rooms around the globe. A small company called Ideas From the Deep (IFD) wanted to help Nintendo expand their reach beyond video game consoles, so they began work on porting Super Mario Bros 3 to PC. Ultimately, Nintendo wasn't interested, and IFD locked the project away and went on to create the PC classic Doom.

The port itself looks like any other Mario port you can get off Google today, but while you're watching it, try to imagine what the world of PC gaming might look like if Nintendo had gone for it. It certainly makes for a neat 'what could have been' scenario.

In his semifinal match against Doublelift, LoL player Froggen decided to deploy Mark, which is a spell that, if it hits, allows you to Dash directly to your opponent. Unfortunately for him, Doublelift was in the process of teleporting to safety when he started his Dash, so Froggen darted directly to his death.

Froggen asked for a rematch, and promptly screwed it up again with the same mistake.

After another rematch, Doublelift won and Froggen was left to deal with his wounded pride.
