Mother of the Bride Is Put in Charge of Storing Her Daughter's Wedding Dress Until the Big Day, Accidentally Buries Grandma Wearing It

Oh boy, what a wedding fail! This wedding dress shop owner on TikTok, Kasia's Bridal, shared a wild story from a client experience and it's a doozy!

So, the story starts off with the groom calling the shop in a complete panic. He asks the woman if he could reorder the same dress his fiancé had ordered before. The shop owner was confused and said that she can try, but with the time constraints, since the wedding was just in a few months, it would be difficult. The gown was a custom dress and it would take time, so she suggested maybe they could just make alterations to the original one. He said, very upset, that there was no dress to make alterations too. 

The bridal shop owner contacted the designer to see what they could do, but it was just not possible to get that exact design done in time. She relay this to the groom and he just started crying. The brother of the bride then took the phone and told her exactly what had happened: The mother of the bride was put in charge of storing the wedding dress until the big day. The mother put it in her closet and then kind of just forgot about it. Then tragedy struck, and the grandmother passed away. The grandfather was buried in his wedding tux and it was the grandmother's wishes to be buried in her wedding dress. So the groom and the brother were asked to grab grandma's wedding dress out of the closet and drop it off at the funeral home. Well, you can guess what happened… The classic mixup happened and instead of them grabbing grandma's wedding dress, the grabbed the bride's wedding dress.

When the mom went to go check on the dress because it was getting close to the time to get it tailored to the bride, she couldn't find it anywhere. Then it hit her, the most unfortunate mixup had happened. Grandma was buried six-feet under wearing the brand new wedding dress of the blushing bride. The panic was real. The bridal shop owner had a conference call with the mom, brother, and groom about the situation. The family had been avoiding the bride for two whole days because of the situation, but eventually all decided to come clean to her.

However, the ending was happier than you'd expect! Because right after that conference call, the bride called the shop. She was wondering if the dress she had ordered could be made bigger because it turns out she was pregnant! Unfortunately, the type of cut the original dress was would not have worked, so she'd have to get an entire new dress. The shop owner said to discuss it over with her groom. That's when he came clean and she wasn't even as upset, because she needed a new dress anyways.
