We think it's fair to say that all generations get roasted pretty harshly from time to time. The term, “Ok, Boomer” took over the internet for some time. And there are certain people who will never forgive millennials for the mustache phase. If you're not familiar with either of those terms, well, feel free to do a little scouring of the internet, or you can just consider yourself lucky and continue on reading this article.
So Gen z is known for a lot of things. They're often stereotyped as tech-addicted, anti-social, or “social justice warriors.” But they're also known to be much more progressive and compassionate when it comes to mental health awareness. Well, a woman, or really a company, made a little video showcasing the kinds of questions they get from gen z applicants and the video swiftly blew up.
This trend, of using the multi-color filter and listing out different topics is fairly popular on the platform right now. It's usually not used in a positive light, however. It was definitely unclear whether this company was making fun of these responses or celebrating them, solely due to the nature of the trend. But the caption was: “Not mad about it at all 🧡.” So we're all a little confused.
Here are some of the comments:
This world is not made for us, so we change it… 🥰
Some of these are basic accessibility and human rights compliance.
all legitimate questions??
Entirely valid things to ask
you're not mad, but the vibe your giving of is that youre belittling the questions and do not see them as valid
The questions millenials are too afraid to ask.
Crazy how all these questions make sense
This didn’t come off the way you think it did

Then the page, @speexx_, went ahead a posted part two.
Many of the people in the comments were confused since these questions are pretty valid. So the page kept trying to reiterate that they were not trying to belittle gen z, if anything they were trying to vibe with how forward the generation is. Yeah, this was kinda hard to grasp initially but hey, these millennials did their best.
Eventually, they made a video responding to the unclear message their initial videos sent.
Well, at least they gave it their go.
