Woman Rescues the Spiciest Little Feral Kitten Ever, Shares Journey of Teaching the Feisty Furball Love

When cats are feral, they are feral—it's usually best to leave them alone. By all means, feed them, take care of them, but if they don't want you touching them, then you probably should just not touch them… However, it isn't impossible to train a feral cat to trust humans and even get them to be completely loving—especially if you find them when they're still a kitten.

TikToker Cass Perch has six rescue cats of her own. So when she found the ittiest bittiest little furball looking more afraid than ever under her trash can outside, she wasn't about to just ignore him. She instantly went into rescue mode to help this little baby out. However, this cat was spicy from the start. She got a few good pets in on the top of this tiny furry baby's noggin', but most of the time this kitten was swinging his m*rder mitten around like he meant business.

Cass, obviously, has experience rescuing cats, but she admits this is the spiciest cat she's ever helped. She's trying her best to make him feel comfortable and safe, but this kitten seems to have some serious trust issues. It has only been a few days, however, since the rescue, so Cass is confident that in time this little kitty will see that she is only here to help and give him love. That being said, she says as a responsible foster, she would like the cat to be adopted by someone who has experience with apprehensive kitties.

“This might be the spiciest kitten I’ve ever rescued. 🌶👊💥🖕”

The cat is so spicy that TikTokers helped Cass land on the name “Church” for the little aggressive one. The name is based off the cat from Stephen King's Pet Sematary, which (if you haven't seen it) features a zombie cat that also seems to be just as feisty as this little rescued ball of fur is.

Cass would love to keep the angry furball and continued to pour love and effort into him, but she already has six rescue cats of her own and she can only do so much. It's already a lot of effort to take care of one rescue cat, so six is above and beyond—adding one more to that bunch might just be a little too much. Either way, she's still looking for a furever home for Church who will hopefully, one day, live life happy and carefree like a kitten should. She shares her Venmo for anybody who wants to contribute to this scared kitten's rehabilitation and rehoming.
