Funniest Parenting Fail Ensues When Dad Drops the F Bomb in Traffic and Toddler Takes It as Songwriting Inspiration

Being a parent is not easy, especially if you're a roadtripping with toddlers… Sitting in traffic is no fun, but try sitting in traffic with three toddlers and THEN see if you keep your cool. A true testing moment for any parent.

Recently, mom of three, Courtney Bazan Colvin, aka @cmbcolvin on TikTok, posted a video on the clock app that has gone viral. It perfectly captures that moment as a parent where you've finally been pushed over the edge for that day and all you can do in response is laugh. The family of five was on a lengthy roadtrip and got stuck in traffic. You don't have to be a parent to know how annoying being stuck in traffic is, and these parents were really feeling it. Dad lost his censorship for one tiny second and let an F bomb drop and OF COURSE that is when his six-year-old toddler starts listening.

Before he could even respond to accidentally letting out a swear word in front of the kids, his six-year-old stared singing the most hilarious tune that is most definitely not toddler-appropriate.

“Our 6-year-old takes it upon himself to create this gem:”

The little tyke had no idea what he was saying, but definitely created a banger doing so. His parents had had it with the day and being stuck in traffic that all they could do was laugh to their little kid repeating “what the f***” over and over again to a sweet little melody he created in his head. Hey—it's good to encourage kids to be creative anyways!

TikTokers are obsessed with the toddler's song. One viewer called it the new “U.S. National Anthem." Another said, “I mean, it IS a catchy tune!” One person even said that they watched this video in front of their own toddler and now they're singing it along with the video—"NOT MY SON HEARING THIS AND SINGING IN HARMONY."

The Songwriter in Question:

Parents know that the best way to handle this situation is to try not to react, because kids will think it's a good thing to say if you start laughing or making a big deal about it. So you stay calm, and eventually let them know not to say that word. But that is easier said than done, because how are you NOT supposed to d!e laughing to this?? HOW?! Anyways, this kid needs to get signed as a producer STAT.
