Shower thought: If people think it's cute to dress up their pets as bats for Halloween, why don't they think actual bats are cute? Maybe it's the rabies, that they only come out at night, or the association with vampires (guilty by association), but we swear, they're really cute! Echolocation is in, you guys. Bats are smol, they're cute, and they're here to stay, so let's change the narrative - bats are cute!

Some of them look like grumpy cotton balls, they love to stick their tongues out for no reason, and they deserve more love for their many years of inspiring both scary and cute costumes. After these pictures, you'll never look at bats the same way again. They also do a lot of good for our environment! Do you hate mosquitos? So do we! Look at those puppy dog eyes, OMG! This little monster is a master of echolocation and eating all the creepy-crawly bugs that make you go EEEEEEEEK! He looks like he just wants a little snuggle and to protect us from mosquitos. New best friend here we come!
