A few days ago, a strange, bulbous, weather balloon was spotted over the big skies of Montana. Since weather balloons aren't entirely an uncommon sight to see, most people ignored the covert appearance of the balloon and considered it harmless. However, tensions rose and worries spiked when people, and the American military, realized that the balloon was actually a spy balloon sent from China. Naturally, in the most American fashion, the US Military basically let the balloon traipse its entire course across the country, allowing it to collect data and remain untouched until it crossed the Eastern seaboard into the Atlantic. That was when the Air Force had finally had ENOUGH of this balloon's mockery. Instead of approaching the balloon in the air and dismantling it and gaining its secrets, the Americans did what Americans do best and they shot it out of the sky with a missile. Weird flex, but okay America. I guess China will have to resort to spying on all of us from TikTok again.
