Author of fantasy series ‘The Glacian Trilogy’ shows what it's like in real time to write the heartbreaking end to a beloved character

If you love to read, then you already know all too well the heartbreak you go through when one of your favorite characters get k!lled off. It feels unfair and traumatic. How could the author do this to you?? You get catapulted into mourning a fictional character and it's all the author's fault. 

But hold on there before you start getting angry with the author and blaming your heartache on them. Did you ever think that maybe they suffered too? They were the ones that created this character and they had to end them, that cannot be easy. In fact, one author captured on video the moment when she wrote the d3ath scene to one of her series' most beloved characters and you can see her suffering. 

The author, Stacey McEwan writes The Glacian Trilogy, a fantasy series with lots of world building and magical characters and more. The first on, Ledge came out last year and the second one comes out this September. The series has gotten a lot of popularity through Book Tok, which is a bustling community on avid readers on TikTok

This intimate moment during her writing that she has shared with her fans has really added extra heartbreak to the readers of her books.

Many readers admit they never really thought about how the author must feel k!lling off a character.
