Sad Doggo Howls at the Door Thinking He's Home Alone, Gets Bamboozled When He Catches a Glimpse of His Owner Upstairs

A lot of dogs go through a deep sorrow and sadness when they're home alone. Separation anxiety inflicts tons of doggos and can be heartbreaking when you hear their sorrowful cries at the door before you re-enter. Dogs can go into sad-mode, crying and howling at the front door until their master comes back to cuddle and pet them, which is equal parts heartbreaking and adorable. 

Recently one golden retriever went viral for his deafeningly sad howl when he got caught in HD crying at the front door. Little did this goofball know, he actually wasn't even home alone. He was crying for no reason. However, the doggo clearly must have thought he was alone, because his reaction to being filmed is the most bamboozling boof you've ever seen on film.

Here's Cooper, the pawdorable viral sensation that stole everyone's heart this week. In the video, he's howling at the door in an attempt to summon his owner back home so he's no longer a lonely boy. Against his wildest dreams, the conjuring howl worked and made his hooman appear out of thin air upstairs with a camera filming him. His reaction to seeing his owner is absolutely priceless. 

“AHHHHWOOOOOo OOOoo OO OO WHERE ARE YOU MOOOOO- Oh wait you're here”

He burps up the end of his howl and his ears perk in confusion as he catches a glimpse of his owner filming upstairs. Clearly the boy thought he was all by his lonesome in the house that day and TikTokers ate it up. Hilariously, it seems like Cooper the golden boy isn't the only one crying wolf. 

We can all agree that this wholesome video is one for the books.

Someday Cooper will be a little older (and perhaps wiser), willingly checking the house before he spirals into the depths of sorrow. Until that day, Amber his owner, can leave the house knowing he's there at the doorway, crying for her to return to that big empty house. At least she knows that her beloved pooch loves her more than anything, and that he only has a few braincells bouncing around in his little domed noggin, begging to be surrounded by the hoomans that love him and his now enormous TikTok following.
