In the twenty-plus years of its lifespan, professional network LinkedIn has been many things to many people. Some use it to make wild boasts and tell ridiculous stories of their achievements that may or may not be an inflation of the truth. An elite minority use it to s***post. Others still use it to make contacts, and apparently not just those that could lead to a new job. Sliding into the DMs: it's not just for Instagram and Twitter.
This was something that one pre-med college student had the misfortune of finding out recently. This had some on the bird app theorizing that its more straightlaced cousin was becoming a dating app. To be honest, it rarely seems like a good idea to so boldly mix business and pleasure.
