Sometimes you don't realize something until it's too late. Sometimes you realize you've made an error, but it's too late to turn back now, so you just charge forth and pretend you didn't realize it. I would do this all the time when I worked in retail. If you make a mistake, in some cases it's just best to roll right ahead and pretend like you didn't, especially if you feel like nobody is going to notice your mess up. That typo in the client report? That's just a new word you came up with to describe how incredible this project is gonna be. Forgot to charge for extra sauce? It's a new promotion we're running today, just for you. You can get away with a lot in this world if you just proceed with bullish confidence.
