They say that you can't choose your family, but technically speaking that is exactly what you do when you marry into one. Nonetheless, just because you think your spouse is a great person doesn't mean you can say the same for all of their relatives. It is extremely common to have problems with in-laws, and they come in every shape and size.
For one woman, her issue was her brother-in-law's incessant teasing about her financial status. Both she and her husband work, but her husband earns more money, leading to his brother continually calling her a gold digger. Without a hint of irony, he recently requested their help to pay for a family vacation, which the couple rejected. It's fair to say that this ruffled some feathers within the family. However, once the issue was brought to the internet it was very clear whose side the general public wanted to be on.
