This woman is so holier than thou. Just because she can see something on the outside doesn't mean her family members should suffer. Besides the fact that she warned him about this woman, he had the best intentions, and she can't blame him for wanting to merge families and have a good life with a loved one. He didn't do something evil, but she's acting as if he deserves this suffering.

“Stop crying to me”: Woman ignores brother’s complaints about his family life because she “warned him” about his wife’s red flags, causing family dilemma
Ahoy there. Our families never cease to amaze us with unexpected drama, situations we never wanted to deal with, and words that may inflict pain that sticks with us forever. There's no one like family members to poke you where you're most sensitive, to jostle your insides and make you question everything in your life. They know too much, they've seen too much, and sometimes it's more than someone can take. Human nature should veer towards lifting each other up and being empathetic and supportive, but it doesn't always work like that.
Having family members who don't want to help or support you through bad decisions, turmoils, and unexpected issues aren't family members anyone should be close with. There's a certain level of empathy that I think is important to maintain with any relationship. We all have that one friend, sister, brother, or parent that doesn't always learn from their mistakes, ignores red flags, and continually makes bad decisions. But what good does it do to tell them, "I told you so?"
In the story below, the protagonist has a brother who seems incapable of learning from his bad choices. Instead of supporting him through hard times, she slanders his inability to have listened to her advice. Read the full story below for all the juicy details.
