Coming back home after a trip is one of the best feelings in the world. Even if you go on a relaxing getaway to a seaside town, sleep on a comfortable hotel bed with tons of pillows, and eat at a hotel with a diverse breakfast buffet, nothing beats the comfort of your own home. Coffee made and prepared by your own hand simply tastes better, your own bed with your favorite pillow is just the comfiest in the world, and no fancy hotel room could ever beat the privacy you have under your roof. 
In our story today, our protagonist comes home from a trip, expecting to be able to relax. However, when she pulls up her driveway, she finds her partner's family's cars parked there and all of them inside, using her house like a free Airbnb.   • This is absolutely horrible. It would be incredibly difficult to continue a relationship with someone that actively trash talks you with their family. Finding that sort of thing would be enough to end most relationships – even long term.

    First, he tried to turn it around and acted like he didn't do anything because I never said "I don't want your family here". Second, his personal property was drenched because of the afternoon rain and his tablet got wet. His ex BIL took the kids because SIL doesn't have a place of her own.     kids homeless you should think again. As anyone who thinks I should accept being abused for whatever reason and tries to blame me for my abusers not being happy I refuse to let them.
