Gentle Giant Doberman Dog Comforts Neighbor's Scared Tiny Puppy Who had Snuck into their Backyard

Doberman dogs tend to get a bad reputation, mostly due to their appearance. They're commonly portrayed as the bad guy in children's movies, like in Pixar's Up or Disney's classic Oliver & Company. They were bred to be guard dogs and are often used in military and police situations. They're large and muscular with a serious face, purposely bred to look threatening to intruders. So, you can see where the bad rep may have come from. But they are actually highly intelligent and sweet creatures—like basically every dog bred. With a little training and love, your doberman can be the most gentle giant you ever did meet. 

TikToker @staarlite's dog named Bleu is a beautiful large Blue Doberman (which means their fur looks kind of silver) that looks like he could kill. However, Bleu has shown TikTok that he is a peaceful pup only wanting to spread love and comfort those around him.

Bleu lives in Texas with his mom who recently posted a video of him finding the neighbor's puppy in their yard. The little guy had snuck out without thinking ahead and found himself scared to the bone in Bleu's yard. The large doberman found the small pup and instead of barking and being territorial, Bleu rescues the little guy. You see the puppy with his face towards the fence trying to hide his body behind an itty bitty stick. Bleu notices the small scared floof and very slowly approaches him. He treats him very gently, starts to sniff the little one, and assures him that everything is all right.

This wasn't the first time these two had met. As Bleu's neighbor, he's met the pup and his puppy siblings through a chainlink fence that separates their yards. However, it would appear that this is their first time meeting with no fence between them, and to the pup, Bleu must've looked a lot larger up close. Bleu, however, was able to keep from getting too excited about meeting his friend up close, and was able to approach the situation calmly. The sweetest interaction you'll ever see.
