TikToker's Mom Shares the Hilarious Home Security Footage of Her Kid Trying to Sneak In Late at Night

Maybe not everyone had a childhood with a rebellious phase, but I'd bet on most people did. There's nothing like the rush you feel as a teenager sneaking out of the house as your parents sleep. Every step you take is light as a feather, testing out the best spots that don't creak. Slowly sliding down the steps to make the least bit of noise. Choosing your best and quietest exit that you can also keep unlocked for your return home—maybe that's the window, or the back door, or even the front door. It's exciting and those who got away with it as a kid feels invincible. 

Fast forward several years, your parents confess they knew exactly what you were up to, but they remembered what it was like to be that age… At least for millennials and older generations most families didn't have personal in-home security cameras. Nowadays, that's very common. So we're starting to see a lot of Gen-Z kids in real time on footage of their tactics of sneaking out and it's hilarious. Did we look like that??

TikToker @emzieees recently shared a video of her mom enjoying the security footage of her older brother sneaking back in the house after coming home super late at night. He straight up drops to the ground and tries to army crawl to the door. Allegedly, he thinks he's avoiding the eyes of the camera, but his mom knows better. The best part is that, even though his mom knows exactly what he's up to, she has not let him know that she knows. She gets way too much entertainment from watching him try to sneak around. In fact, she says she has an entire folder of her kids doing things on the camera that they think they're getting away with and she likes to watch them for a good laugh.

It's not just videos of the son trying to be sneaky, but just looking ridiculous. It's also them messing around with the camera's. “We like to keep the queen entertained,” the TikToker said in one of her video captions. It's precious to see how much the mom enjoys these hilarious moments of her children captured on camera. If the security cameras never actually help to capture a crime, they were still worth having just for these hilarious gems of her kids.
