Women Reveal The Biggest Red Flags They Ignored In Relationships

Aah, that blissful feeling of being in love — it's a beautiful thing, but it doesn't come without its complications. At one point or another, many of us will have found ourselves in questionable relationships where we put up with behaviors we shouldn't have—speaking for a friend, of course. The rose-colored glasses we wear in relationships can blind us to some pretty glaringly obvious red flags, which we can only see clearly once the relationship has ended. On the bright side, we can use them as learning experiences of what not to ignore when it comes to our next relationship. A tweet asking people to share the biggest red flags they ignored in relationships has revealed some hilarious responses, which might make you relate to any previous sh*t shows you dated in the past. What were some red flags you ignored?

People Reveal Weirdest Myths About Sex They Believed As Kids

I think I can probably speak for most people when I say that growing up, my sex ed was almost non-existent. I picked up everything I know now along the way, either through the garbage my friends told me or, as I got older, through some awkward trial and error experiences. I was that gullible kid who believed you could get pregnant from swimming in a pool and that my parents only had sex the same amount of times as the number of siblings I have (and even that was way too many for my liking). People on Reddit share some of the weirdest myths about sex they believed as kids, and they make me feel less alone, as that kid who believed anything and everything about the big, bad world of sex.

Welcome to this week's funniest relationship tweets, where all the highs and lows of love get penned in 280 characters or less.

Man Tells Girlfriend She Doesn't Work Hard Enough For Salary

Yikes. When it comes to the kinds of things that you should absolutely never say to your partner (or anyone, really) this dude just added a new one to the pool. If you have a partner who is rocking a badass salary, and then you proceed to try and knock them down by trashing them for not working hard enough, you are in dire need of a little life assessment time. Clearly, this dude's got a whole lot of toxic nonsense boiling underneath the surface.

Guy Gets Slammed For Being Jealous Of GF's 'Easier', Better Paid Job

The extended lockdown over the past year has meant many couples now work together from home. Of course, living and working with your significant other isn't ideal because you're basically on top of each other 24-7, exposing you to sides of them that you might not have seen before. But since it's pretty unavoidable nowadays, couples have had to adapt. Unfortunately, it has brought out the ugly side of people, which one guy who posted on Reddit's Am I The Asshole proved when he went on a jealous rant after observing his GF's work schedule and being bitter that she was making double his salary for half the work. She understandably got pissed off, explaining that it wasn't his place to say what her time was worth because she was hired for her knowledge. If her boss and CEO saw the work she produced and based her salary off that, it wasn't his place to undervalue her because he was jealous. He also casually threw in the fact that she does the housework and he doesn't. Redditors had a lot to say to him, but the main consensus was that he was the asshole who had jealousy issues. Read his ridiculous rant, and let us know what you think.

Funny, Brutal Breakup Letters Women Wrote To Their 'Disappointing Exes' (January 14, 2021)

We've all been through breakups where all we wanted to do was send our piece-of-sh*t ex a message telling them exactly what we thought of them. Because, well... closure. But, whether our friends convinced us not to, or our sense of pride got the better of us, we held back (until we had that second glass of wine). But now, the Instagram account To The Guys I've (Kinda) Dated has your back when it comes to getting the closure you need from any men who let you down. Simply write your ex a short letter, let them post it, and hope his whole family (and new GF) sees it! Simple.

Vintage Mag Offers Insight On The Husband-Hunting Tactics Of Yore

Dating has come a long way since the 1950's. We've been blessed by what sometimes feels like too much technology, and being able to scroll through hundreds of prospective suitors in just a few minutes. Singles back in the day really didn't have these luxuries. Meeting "the one" involved a lot more time, energy and though. Facebook user Kim Marx-Kuczynski shared proof of this in the form of a 1958 McCall's magazine. The classic women's magazine, which folded in 2002, covered topics such as news, fashion - and some seriously funny relationship advice. This piece, which is geared at helping women find a husband, shows a starkly different dating game than we're used to. And it's terrifically funny to boot.

Funny excerpts from 1958 mccall's magazine about how to find a husband | 129 ways get husband Continued page 29 14 Be nice everybody-they may have an eligible brother or son. 15 Get government job overseas. 16 Volunteer jury duty. 17 Be friendly ugly men-hand- some is as handsome does. 18 Tell friends are terested getting married. Don't keep secret. 19 Get lost at football games. 20 Don't take job company run largely by women.
