Woman Goes Viral for Sharing the Dramatic Saga She Endured While Living with a Toxic Karen Roommate from HeII

When you're trying to live in a place like NYC, you tend to take what you can get when it comes to living situations. So when TikToker Annelisa Waltz came across an amazing deal for a beautiful apartment, she jumped on the chance. Little did she know, however, that it came with the most horrible roommate anyone could ever imagine—a Grade-A Karen. 

Waltz calls the roommate “Sharon” in the video, but we all know she's a Karen. Waltz is 21 at the time and the Karen is 56 years old. She first feels uncomfortable with the Karen roommate when she noticed that she kept going into her room without her permission. She fully realized that this roommate was completely bonkers after she asked management to put a lock on her bedroom door and the Karen roommate absolutely lost it.

Part 2 (Installing the Lock)

After that insane argument about the totally reasonable lock on her bedroom door, Waltz gave her a one-month notice that she would be moving out and she'd have to find a new roommate. The Karen roomie obvious lost her sh*t and made that last month for her a living nightmare. The Karen took everything off the walls, told Waltz she wasn't allowed on the furniture or even allowed to open the blinds. She cleared out the kitchen or utensils and even chairs so she couldn't use it. Karens are already horrible to encounter, but can you imagine living with one??

One time Waltz was taking a shower and could hear the Karen pacing the hallway outside of the bathroom. She thought maybe she had to pee really badly, so sure hurried up and was out of the bathroom in about 5 minutes. As she was walking down the hallway in her towel, she begins to hear the Karen charging towards her. She is so terrified, she thinks Karen is about to attack her. Last minute, however, the Karen swerves and goes into the bathroom and slams the door behind her.

Waltz shares even more stories of the horribly toxic Karen roommate, including videos from when they would have huge arguments, and you can hear the horrible way the Karen talks to her. The entire living situations sounds absolutely traumatizing. 

One thing that is simply hilarious, however, is that Waltz reveals what the Karen roommate does as a living and you'd never believe it. She's a “match maker"—she helps people find love, apparently…

Waltz did eventually move out and was able to hold her ground and get her full security deposit back. But the trauma she carries after that horrible roommate experience will be with her forever and many viewers are encouraging her to seek legal action. No worried on the legal action yet, other than Waltz is seriously considering it, but in the meantime, TikTokers are watching her videos as if they're binging a Netflix series.
