    Craic-Den 22h ago • Your "boss" is no longer needed, you have the upper hand, firing all of you just means he has fired himself. Group together, purchase a van, some tools and start your own business, as long as you didn't sign a non compete clause you can take all his clients.

Sounds like he was having financial problems, and turned his weakness and fear into "tough boss" You called his bluff and he felt cornered.     . Floor_Soft 1h ago He was going to fire you anyway. He gave you an impossible task and then made it seem like your failure to accomplish the task and speaking up about it was the reason but it seems like the business was already doing bad which is why he sent you on such a foolhardy errand.

    UPDATE: I have been informed by a former coworker that the boss is now going to withhold paychecks until we return company gear which as far as I know is illegal
