Wildlife Control Employee Gets Called in for "Squeaking" Heard in the Attic, Turns Out to be Over 1,000 Bats

TikToker Chris Garegnani aka @rid_a_critter_chris works as a wildlife control person in the South. He helps clear homes of pests and adds preventions to keep them from getting in. He occasionally posts some of his work to his TikTok—finding squirrels or raccoons and showing how to  block them from getting in. Other than that, he's your average TikToker just posting fun videos of his life and family. 

Recently, however, he posted a video that has him going viral. Chris was called in to a home that claimed they heard mysterious squeaking in the attic. Most would think mice, rats, maybe squirrels or raccoons. However, when Chris went up to asses the situation he found something he was not expecting—over 1,000 bats.

It's not that insane to find bats in someone's attic, especially in the South. In fact, bats are listed as one of his specialties for handling. So, it wasn't something completely new and Chris could handle it. But one thing is for sure, he definitely didn't go into that job expecting to see thousands of bats. In fact, how can someone live in a home and never notice the top of their house is invaded with bats? 

TikTok was astonished by this video and instantly made it go viral with over a million views already. Because of that Chris has posted some follow up TikToks to update the viewers. 

Checking Valve for Bat Removal

Chris isn't an exterminator, he doesn't go in and just fill the room with poison and kill all the critters. After assessing the situation he figures out what he needs to do to evacuate the bats and then seal it up so they can't get back in. He also even says they create little bat houses for the winged creatures so they can have a new home to go to. 

Bats Flying Out of the Attic

Viewers are stoked on the humane removal of the bats. He shares the video after blocking the entrance way back into the home after the bats left and shows them flying around in confusion. They will eventually find their new homes and the Batman can live on.
