Farmer Goes Viral for "Calfnapping" When He Sneakily Swipes a Calf Away from Mama Cow

Alright, PETA calm down! It's not what you think. The farmer isn't a monster. He's stealing the calf away so the mama cow will follow them to the barn. Then once they get there, they give the mama and calf a little space of their own so they can bond. It's a pretty normal part of farming, and the farmer TikToker Colby O'Neal is just pointing out the parts of his job that are hilariously sketchy. He's showing how he has to literally kidnap a calf just to get the mama cow to follow them. Viewers are hooked to the entire situation, unable to not watch the clip over and over again. Many are concerned that he could've easily gotten attacked by the mama cow trying to save her baby. However, most are simply interested in putting in their resume for “calfnapping.”

Set to the hilarious clip from Parks and Recreation where a character is hilariously singing ,"don't be suspicious, don't be suspicious." The funny part of that scene is that the character is singing that, but they are being VERY suspicious. Now knowing the song and the context, you can see how perfectly the sound clips matches up with the video of the farmer stealing the calf. It's not like some sneaky plan to get this small cow. He just snuck up behind it and swiped it. Mama cow just looked on in disbelief like, “oh no, my boyyyyy!”

Viewers are commenting hilarious response. One person said, “Waiting for the amber alert." Another asked, “I have so many questions… like how can I apply to be in calf burglary.” And one viewer voiced the situation like, “Just uh going to borrow this for a minute…” Some TikTokers however, don't come from any sort of farming background and are concerned why the farmer is doing this. He steps in and replies to those commenters explaining that it's just a tactic to get the mama cow to follow them to the bar so they can spend time together. Other farmers chime in and say it's a way to get them away from the herd to get them properly tagged and vaccinated as well. This TikToker farmer however said it wasn't very successful, since they had to circle back around to convince the mama cow to follow even after kidnapping her calf.

Overall, it's harmless (unless that mama cow retaliate, then it's scary for the farmer) and the baby calf and mama cow were reunited and are together. If anything, this viral video has helped farmers gain a few more people applying to be their handy “calfnappers.”

“Why is all the farm work we do so sketchy?”
