Fun Informative Twitter Thread On Bathroom Breaks In Space

It's a lot easier said than done when it comes to taking a leak in outer space. I guess you'd expect nothing less. Everything seems to have an innate tendency to grow far more complicated as you drift further away from this particular rock that's flying through space. Mary Robinette Kowal provides an equally entertaining and informational Twitter thread on the backstory surrounding astronauts' experiences with trying to functionally use the restroom while on missions in outer space.

Photos That Show The True Size Of The Earth

If you're ever feeling overwhelmed, or going through something that seems too big to handle, sometimes it's good to be reminded of our place in the universe. Earth may seem huge, but in reality, it's just a tiny speck in the Milky Way. Which itself is a speck amongst millions of other galaxies. These pictures show just how small Earth really is, not only compared to the other planets, but also the rest of the universe.

Huston, we have a problem.

This dog missed her astronaut mommy too much and their reunion is pure joy.

Christina Koch, the NASA astronaut, returned home this on February 6th after 328 days in space, breaking the record for the longest single spaceflight by a woman. When she landed safely, she posted on Twitter: "This journey has been everyone's journey. Thank you to all involved in the success of our mission, and for giving me the opportunity to carry everyone's dreams into space. I'm filled with gratitude to be back on the planet".

While we are sure many missed her over the past few months, it seems no one missed her more than her adorable dog who welcomed her with so many tail waggings.

Koch posted a video of the heartwarming reunion, saying she "wasn't sure who was more excited" about it: her or her dog.

An Astronaut Just Committed The First-Ever Crime In Space

Well, it appears that we're living in the future now, as the first space crime ever may have just been committed.

Astronaut Anne McClain has found herself in hot water after being accused of identity theft from her estranged wife Summer Worden.

Sounds like a fairly regular crime until you learn that McClain had accessed Worden's bank account from outer space, making for an unprecedented case with unclear jurisdiction.

While the legal authorities try to sort that sh*t out, please enjoy the following Twitter reactions!

Flat Earthers Will Say That It's Photoshop

We would like to say that you can't argue with photographic evidence but some people can and DO argue that the Earth is actually flat. If you're not a government clone of a celebrity (like Tila Tequila) or if you believe in science, you'll still love these amazing pictures of Earth from outer space.
