Dogs truly deserve the best of the best, and if you have the money to give your dog everything, then yes, do it. But also… on the other haaaaand… Just sayin, like… IN THIS ECONOMY?!

TikTok Logan Mendicino recently posted a video of a flashy new glass elevator the got for their 15-year-old golden boy. This sweet senior dog looks like he did nothing buy make the lives of everybody around him better. So when it started getting difficult for him to walk down the stairs, his parents got him his own elevator. It's adorable and he looks like he's those little tubes of money you send in those drive through banks. But either way, good for you buddy.

And yet…

Dog Elevator pt. 2

People aren't as excited about the dog elevator as you'd think. I mean, the internet is usually all very pro cats and dogs. If you're a dog person on the internet you can find a world of cuteness. But the fact that this family spent probably around $30k for their dog isn't rubbing people quite the same way. This dog would've been happy with a ramp, being carried by his family, or even just moving his bed to downstairs and then maybe this obviously rich family could've donated that money to a cause that could help all the families struggling in America or anywhere in the world right now…

Listen, if you're asking me, I'd say give all the money in the world to the dogs. Have you met a rich person? Having so much money that you don't even know what to do with it truly eats people from the inside out. The first few comments seemed to tiptoe around the fact that this was an outlandishly rich person purchase. Once someone did comment on it, a person casually tossed in that it was probably just around $30k, so not expensive at all. Oh boy, did that release the hounds. One person said to casually drop the price of a new car like it's nothing is rich. Another pointed out that that's double the average yearly salary for many Americans…

Again, we are all for dogs being spoiled, especially senior dogs. But this… This just feels like an example of rich privilege that's so blatant it hurts to watch.
