Mining Equipments Operator on TikTok Finally Figures Out Why Blue Collar Workers Always Fall for the Toxic Person

TikToker Clint aka @clint_heavyop is a blue collar worker who operators heavy machinery on a clay mine. He's good at his job and is proud of his blue collar occupation, and rightfully so. But it's his relatable blue collar skits and astute observations that are currently making him viral on the Gen-Z clock app.

Clint tapped into an issue that may be spoken about between close friends in the blue collar world, but it's not really a commonly known experience. Apparently, blue collar workers have a tendency to only date “toxic” people—"especially for men," he adds. It was one day while at work that it all clicked, the potential reason exactly why blue collar workers always end up with a toxic partner.

He was sitting in his excavator when he noticed, for the first time, about a dozen warning stickers posted all over the inside of his machine. It dawned on him that he was never once even glanced at these warning signs. Even after noticing them, he had no desire to actually thoroughly read them. And that's when it hit him, blue collar workers ignore the red flags.

“I think I'm on to something here!!!”

A Blue Collar Attention Span

Why do blue collar works ignore the red flags? It could be because they already have to go through hours and hours of OSHA training, but no. That's not his reasoning. This TikToker and fellow blue collar worker says it's due to the “blue collar attention span.” They could read the warning signs and pay attention to the red flags, but no… He says, “let me tell you something about us blue collar workers, about 90% of us have the attention span of a squirrel trying to cross the f***ing road, okay?” His remedy is to figure out a way to put pictures of the potential partner's toxicity on the actual person, then maybe a healthy relationship with a blue collar worker can occur.

But then Clint also admits in a later video that blue collar men are also toxic… So maybe everyone working blue collar should get their own warning labels with pictures once hired.

"Just kidding, we toxic AF…"
