Girl Sees Her Stolen Bike for Sale Online, Devises a Plan to Steal It Back, Shares TikTok of the Epic Heist

Having a bicycle in a big city is always a gamble. No matter how heavy duty your bike lock is, somehow someone is still able to steal it. It's like these bike thieves are carrying around freakin' lasers or something. How did you break through this $300 U-Lock?? HOW?! My guess, is that it really doesn't take a lot of thinking and planning when someone decides to steal a bike. They probably have a crowbar with them and if any onlookers ask, they can just say that's their bike and they just absent-mindedly lost their key. Maybe strangers even help them! It's a dog eat dog world out there, man. 

However, if you've ever had a bike stolen from you, then you probably know the protocols victims do after seeing its gone. First things first, you check all the possible places it could be put for sale online. That's the main one. (Some put up missing sings with rewards, etc. and sometimes that works, but rarely.) 

This U.K. TikToker shared the epic heist they planned to get her friend's bike back after it was stolen. Her friend had the horrible situation of her bike being stolen. When she realized it was gone, her and her friends checked on “Gumtree” (the U.K. version of Craigslist, basically) and found it up there very soon after the bike was found gone. So she messaged the seller that she was interested in purchasing this bike. 

This is when the planning came in. The devised a plan so simple, yet beautifully devious. The girl brought with her a fake purse and she would give this to the seller as “collateral” for him to hold while she “tested” the bike. The TikTok video has her friends camped out at a cafe next door to her meeting spot. They recorded the entire plan unfolding. 

The Plan: Steal Back the Bike

The TikTok showed that the plan worked beautifully. The friend walked up to the man and told him she was the one who reached out about purchasing the bike. She obviously wanted to test it out before exchanging any money, but she told him not to worry, because she will leave her purse with him to hold on to to assure her return with the bike. Ha! What a dumba$s. The girl road away on her bike with no intention of returning to the bike thief. When he looked inside the fake purse that she left with him, or a decoy purse if you will, it had only one thing in it: A not that read “BIKE THIEF SUCK MY D*CK.” The video shows the guy watching the victim ride away on her bike far from him, he looks bewildered; then he looks inside the purse and reads the note and drops to the ground in defeat. 

Ah, karma is satisfying. It may need a little bit of an extra push with some planning with your friends, but once it goes down *chef's kiss*!
