dating

Dating is a tricky place. Whether it's online, blind, or a witty pick up line at the bar, the ways to start that dance are nearly endless. Unfortunately, some people still don't manage to navigate its nuances, and end up a lesson what not to do.

Man Gets Unrightfully Fired By Almost Mother-In-Law, Nuclear Revenge Ensues

Honestly, the most satisfying revenge stories involve the shady villain characters that could've avoided their ultimate destruction if they'd but simply played nice. It sounds like this guy has a kind enough heart, and really didn't want to escalate things as he did, but he was given no other choice. So, the revenge that ensued was swift and critically effective.

Man's almost mother in law unrightfully fires him, so he takes a nuclear revenge.

Even though the actual storytelling approach is a bit of a situation to muddle through, TikToker @antoniaeveee makes a great point about what kind of obsessive, overbearing thinking process could motivate someone to check a Yelp review for their boyfriend's restaurant mere minutes after it went up. And then to just disregard the context of why the review was left in the first place, and create a whole drama out of it? Yeah, that's a whole lot of yikes that I'm seeing.

Woman Tries To Be A Good Girlfriend, Ends Up With Stolen License Plates

Man oh man, nothing's worse than trying to do something good, purely good, out of the kindness of your warm soul, only to have the universe seemingly insist on dealing you a nasty hand. In this case, we have a kindhearted girlfriend who went out of her way to try and secure her partner a nice video game controller, only to have her dang license plates stolen. Hopefully that thief gets a nice serving of brutal instant karma.

Comments Which Caused People To Peace-Out In The Middle Of A Date

It takes a lot of confidence to go on a date. There are a million ways it can go wrong, and yet we still manage to sum up the power to do it all the frickin time. I believe we all deserve a round of applause for consistently putting ourselves out there. Most of the time our dates do not lead to something bigger, but we learn from each one. We gain lessons from every person we open ourselves up to. But sometimes that lesson is just: Stop going after a-holes.

Or, just to find a match that's actually taking the wild world of a place like Tinder, seriously. Maybe these people's stories about the reasons that they're still single, will remind you of some of your own reasoning.

The comments section on the original video really says it all. What was she thinking? This dude seems like an absolute catch. Of course, this is also one of those dating shows that could all be scripted, and/or involve people donning their carefully practiced egoic masks that completely hide their actual monstrous selves from the rest of the world watching them on TV. Maybe the dude was a straight up demon. Or, maybe, just maybe he ended up dodging the real bullet through being rejected.

This Week's Batch Of Funniest Dating App Tweets (May 7, 2021)

Dating has evolved over time, and somehow we've arrived at the age of dating apps. It's so wonderful to be here together... right? If you've been on the apps as long as I have, it's actually the opposite of wonderful. Just hearing the words Tinder, OkCupid, and Hinge makes me physically ill. Okay, so maybe I'm being a bit of a drama queen, but try one day on the apps and you'll see what I mean. The singles of Twitter know exactly what I'm talking about. Check out this week's funniest tweets about people's ridiculous experiences on dating apps below.

Girlfriend Outraged Over Her Man Giving Female Friend A Ride During Medical Emergency

If it's not your first time on the rodeo, then you know relationships are complicated. Jealousy is often an issue that comes up, but people seriously need to learn how to trust their significant others (unless there have been acts of cheating in the past). On Reddit's infamous "Am I The A**hole?" subreddit, a Redditor told a quick tale about how her friend's boyfriend gave her a ride because her brother with a health condition needed his meds STAT. When she got back, however, the guy's girlfriend was upset that the two were alone in a car together because they dated once upon a time. The GF is obvs super insecure, and should probably discuss this with her BF instead of taking it out on her friend, in my humble opinion. Scroll down for what Redditors had to say about this drama.

Thread about girlfriend suspicious of boyfriend for giving female friend a ride | thumbnail text - r/AmItheAsshole Posted by u/throwawayact8x 4 hours ago AITA for having my friends boyfriend give me a ride? Background: Me (25F) and Abby (28F) have been friends for about a year. We've known each other much longer through mutual friends but have only had a separate relationship for this past year. She is currently dating Sam (33M). Me and Sam dated briefly three years ago and it ended really bad

Women Reveal Dating App Bios Which Make Them Roll Their Eyes

Being on a dating app can be very exhausting. Some people are so cringy and it seems that nobody has told them. Like, I hate to break it to you Chad, putting women down is so 20th century. Now we actually go for people who respect us, or at least we try. It can be hard when the dating pool appears so limited! At least we know the kinds of creeps to avoid... for the most part.

People are sharing the dating app bios that make them want to delete the entire app, and boy are some of these cringe.

Woman Complains About Lousy Customer Service, Gets Called A Karen

The term "Karen" gets thrown around a whole lot these days. It's grown to be the go-to name to assign to anyone who insists on being a terribly entitled, straight up nasty human being to folks that are working customer service jobs. With all that being said, it seems like this woman was wrongly called a "Karen." She was dealing with some genuinely poor customer service, and decided to call the company out on it.
