Cute and Colorful Bird Named Twinkie Loves to Nap With His Human, Cuddles up Right Under the Blanket With Her

Have you ever seen a pet bird literally curl up under a blanket with their owner and nap together? It's absolutely adorable! (But also dangerous, please do not attempt this with your pet bird…)

TikToker @gateeto1 has a pet pineapple conure bird who is a beautiful rainbow colored lil baby who loves to tweet and dance to reggaeton and take naps with his mom. She recently posted a TikTok showing off their cute little naptime and it isn't just him perched near by snoozing while she's snoozing. He literally curls up next to her, pulls the blanket over him, and cuddles up close for a good snooze. 

The TikToker says, “I don't know, bro… Lowkey, we be sleeping together at night sometimes and I'm like how the f… how the f*** are you still alive, bro?? But he's a survivor.” Before she cuddles herself under the blanket and Twinkie the bird hops in with her and even grabs a hold of the blanket with his beak to pull a little over himself as well. Maybe he thinks the blanket is like her big wing and it's protecting him while he sleeps? 

Who knows, but she makes sure to say over and over again that this is fine with her bird because her parents are always making sure he's fine, and she only ever does this with quick like 15-30 minute naps. Even with that reassurance, many bird lovers flew to the comment section to yell at her for napping with her adorable birb, even though he seems to be living his best life. 

Naptime

Because of the slight backlash she got in the comments for taking a nap with her bird, she made sure to respond and discourage anybody else from doing the same. She says that if you go to “sleep sleep” with you bird, like take your bird to bed when you're aiming for a good REM cycle, then it is very likely that you will roll over them and smother them to death. So please, DO NOT do that. She assures everyone that she only naps with Twinkie when he insists and it's only a quick power nap, so she is never fully fully asleep, she is just resting. 

Twinkie looks absolutely adorable in his little cozy nap with his mom and she doesn't want to ever take that time away from him or herself. It's a beautiful bonding moment.
