Couple Move Into a New House and Find Band-Aids Used to Patch a Hole in the Ceiling, Quickly Realize the Contractor Cut Massive Corners

Recently, TikToker @vibingpixelprincess had to make a quick move when the military relocated her and her husband. It wasn't just the two of them making the move, it was also their child, mother-in-law, and several dogs and ferrets. So, they had to find a house before they even got to the new location to avoid having to find a hotel or anywhere that could accommodate such a huge party.

They decided to just bite the bullet and purchase a home without even physically walking through it. They had a real estate agent send an inspector and they went off of that. The house was allegedly completely newly renovated, so they had high expectations. The inspector found several major things that needed fixed before they moved in, which was attended to, and then the races were off!

However, after moving in, the couple started to realize several things were off. Lots of small things that started to build up. It wasn't just a loose door hinge or towel rack. It was one thing after another. Their door completely broke, their towel rack fell clean off the wall and looked like it was forced onto the wall with calk. The cherry on top of it all, however, were the literally Band-Aids they found on their ceiling.

They saw a weird bubble on their ceiling and decided to take a better look at it since everything else was falling apart. As they chipped away at the thick layer of paint, they realized it was a paint bubble of literal Band-Aids… The crappy contractor had actually used Band-Aids to patch a hole in the ceiling and painted over it like that was totally normal and nobody would ever notice.

“Omg it really is Band-Aids!”

The TikToker says she and the real estate agent have reached out to the contractor who did this horrible work, and he told them to never call him again. He refuses to acknowledge them, let along the atrocious corners he cut while working on this house.

Viewers are encouraging the TikTok to take legal action and pursue suing him. However, they spent all of their money on the move, so they do not currently have the funds to take the contractor to court. Plus, the guy completely cut contact with him, so it would take a lot of extra effort they simply don't currently have.

They're trying to fix the shoddy job the contractor doomed them with, but it's not easy. Neither of them have never renovated a house and, again, they are very low on funds. Viewers provide them with tips and tricks on how to repair, but the saga still continues for the couple.
