Nightmare Mother-In-Law Steals Grandsons Journal To Prove He's 'Anti-Social'

Even though you're blood-related, it's not always guaranteed that you'll be tight with your family. Sure you probably have some stuff in common, but it doesn't mean you'll all be best friends or even acquaintances for that matter. Let's be real, we all have some relatives we don't vibe with, and that just don't understand us in the slightest. Everyone has that crazy aunt, or uncle, or in-law, it's basically guaranteed. All you can do is remind yourself that they're the messed up one, and not you — unless it actually is you.

Woman Reprimanded After Not Preparing Vegan Options For Surprise Dinner-Guest

It's really common these days for people to have a few dietary restrictions. There's nothing inherently wrong with excluding a couple of things for health, or environmental reasons, but obviously, some restrictions are more serious than others. Whatever the case may be, if you know you have some pretty strict food rules, you can't really go around assuming people will prepare the appropriate food for you. Unless you wear a sign everywhere you go, you need to vocalize to people what you need, we're not psychics after all.

Homophobic Grandparents Trap And Pester Teen Grandson About His Sexuality

Grandparents have the potential to have some very special relationships with their grandchildren. But something about the generational differences can either bring them really close or be a barrier that holds them back from being able to relate to each other. We so often hear the term, "oh, they're from a different time, don't take what they say to heart" but that doesn't really make any sense. Sure they were alive during a time where 'things were different' but they were also alive during the times where those 'things' changed, so why couldn't they also shift their outlook?

Jealous Woman Shames 'Friend' For Going All Out On Her Birthday

Different people have vastly different opinions on their birthdays. Some people dread them every year because they're so perplexed on how to celebrate, or don't feel like they've accomplished enough in the past year, or they just don't like adding a larger number to their identity. But some people are obsessed with their birthdays, and actually look forward to their big day. It doesn't really matter how you feel about your birthday, whether you have strong or mild feelings about it, you're allowed to feel however you want and no one should hold you back from celebrating it in whichever way feels right to you.

Man Tells His Wife's Overweight Friend To 'Consider' Ordering A Salad

Whether you're super thin, chubby, overweight, even extremely healthy, nobody really appreciates it when people comment on their weight. Everybody thinks they are some kind of nutritionist, it's bizarre. Unless you are a licensed doctor, there really is no reason to give your opinion on someone's weight. Even if your intention is solely to give them a compliment it can make them feel uncomfortable. It's really safer to just… not.

The fact of the matter is that there are so many more interesting things about a person, so why point out something so shallow?

Long-distance relationships can be extremely difficult for a multitude of reasons. Most of your fights are solely about the distance but you find yourselves bickering about pointless sh*t regardless. It takes a strong couple to deal with all of the obstacles. There needs to be compassion, patience, and hella compromise. Delusional 'Instagram Model' Threatens Woman For Refusing To Switch Seats With Her

Wherever you go, to school, to work, to the movies, to the airport, there will always be entitled people. Entitled people come from all backgrounds and ethnicities, and their 'me first' attitude doesn't necessarily stem from them actually being important or successful. It's quite interesting when you really think about it. What causes someone to literally think that the world revolves around them? Who raised them? More importantly, who's going to tell them they're not the main character?

Rude Girlfriend Complains At Family Wedding To Bride Because There Was 'Too Much Cheese'

It can be really difficult to have food limitations.A lot of people struggle with them every day for various health reasons. People are gluten-intolerant, vegetarian, nut-free,  lactose-intolerant, etc etc. When it's something you live with, you usually develop ways to ensure that there will be a food option for you wherever you go, since you can't really expect everyone to automatically be aware of and accommodate for your individual restrictions, especially if they're not life or death. However, some people forget that they're not the main character, and expect others to constantly bend over backward for them...

Cheeky Ways To Respond To 'What Are We' Instead Of Actually Defining The Relationship

Defining the relationship can be super awks, especially in this day and age. You could tell that your casual hookup has caught the feels for you, and if you don't feel the same way, that conversation might not be one you want to have. Luckily for you, Redditors came up with a genius thread about how to respond when your summer fling asks the dreaded question: "what are we?" Instead of being mature and honest about it, you could avoid responding entirely with the wonderfully hilarious one-liners below.

Tweets That Capture The Joys Of Working Customer Service

Most of us have or will have to work in some sort of customer service job at some point in our lives. The industry can be great; you meet tons of people, make tips, and eat a whole bunch of delicious free food if you work in a restaurant. Perhaps the biggest downsides are the whole being-poor thing, and the fact that you have to occasionally deal with horrible customers who make you want to punch a brick wall!

'Jokester' Brother-In-Law Won't Shut Up During Surprise Proposal, Nearly Ruins It All

some people like to go very far with their wedding proposals. After all, you only hope to do it very few times. Some people go for an intimate ask, some go for a more public display of affection, and some go all out and plan a full-on surprise event. Whichever route is taken, people tend to put a lot of thought into their proposals, and what they don't need is some insecure jerk trying to make a joke out of it all. At least it becomes clear who not to invite to the actual wedding.

Rude Woman Snaps When Child Won't Stop Laughing During 'Quiet Lunch' At Chick-Fil-A

Not to be dramatic, but sometimes people literally forget that they're not the center of the universe. That their human experience is no more valid, nor significant than anyone else's. That nobody owes them a damn thing because put plainly, they are not the main character. Okay, this rant is over. But doesn't it just make your blood boil when people act so entitled? Well, then you'll love this Reddit story.
